‼️❤️ Doctors Told Her Family She Might Not Survive the Night — Three Weeks Later, This Young Mom Is Still Fighting

Imagine being just 22 years old, raising a 4-year-old son, and suddenly losing the ability to move your body from the neck down.

Then imagine your mother being told to call the family because doctors don’t believe you will survive the night.

That was the reality facing Brooklynn on July 27.

Today, she is still here.

Still fighting.

Still holding on. ❤️🙏

Brooklynn’s mother, Dawn, reached out from Tennessee with one simple request:

“Pray for Brooklynn!!!”

Her daughter’s nightmare began June 6, when Dawn says doctors diagnosed Brooklynn with what they believed was MS.

Just two weeks later, Brooklynn was paralyzed from the neck down.

She was hospitalized for treatment and additional testing, but instead of improving, her condition continued to deteriorate.

She lost the ability to swallow.

Her speech was affected.

Her vision became extremely blurry.

Then she developed pneumonia and fluid in her lungs and eventually had to be intubated.

But the medical emergencies did not stop there.

On July 5, Brooklynn suffered a perforated bowel and was rushed into emergency surgery.

According to Dawn, doctors discovered that her daughter had lost most of her small intestine and told the family she might have only hours left to live.

Brooklynn survived.

Two additional surgeries followed.

Then doctors discovered a mᴀssive abdominal abscess containing approximately nine liters of infectious fluid. Dawn says the fluid had compressed blood vessels and caused tissue in Brooklynn’s stomach to die.

Her condition became critical.

Then came July 27.

A doctor told the family to call everyone in.

Brooklynn was not expected to survive the night.

But she did.

One night pᴀssed.

Then another.

And another.

Nearly three weeks later, this 22-year-old mother remains in the fight.

For her mother, one powerful reason may be waiting for Brooklynn at home.

Her 4-year-old son, Adonis. ❤️

Dawn says Adonis is autistic and nonverbal and that he needs his mother desperately.

She believes Brooklynn loves her little boy more than anything and is fighting to return to him.

That hope is what Dawn holds onto during the long hospital days.

She says she imagines her daughter one day thriving beside Adonis — healthy, joyful and full of life.

But Dawn has also shared the painful thoughts that often come when a parent realizes just how fragile life can be.

She wishes she could turn back time.

She wishes she had been more patient.

She wishes she had spent more time with her daughter and made fewer mistakes.

Those feelings are deeply human.

When someone you love is lying in a hospital bed fighting for their life, ordinary moments can suddenly feel priceless.

One more conversation.

One more hug.

One more normal day together.

Dawn believes strongly in the power of prayer, and she is asking people around the world to pray for her daughter.

So today, let’s surround Brooklynn with those prayers.

Pray for her body to heal after everything it has endured.

Pray for strength as she continues this extraordinary fight.

Pray for wisdom and strength for the doctors and nurses caring for her.

Pray for Dawn, who has watched her daughter come frighteningly close to death again and again.

And most importantly, pray for little Adonis.

Pray that his mom gets the chance to come home.

His mother is still fighting.

And as long as she is fighting, her family is holding onto hope.

Dawn does not want this to be the end of Brooklynn’s story.

She wants it to become what she calls her daughter’s “testimony of healing and prayer.”

So please say her name.

Brooklynn. ❤️🙏

Pray that this young mother gets another chance at the ordinary life she deserves — waking up beside her son, watching him grow and making all those everyday memories that suddenly mean everything.

The night they were told she wouldn’t survive has pᴀssed. And Brooklynn is still here. ❤️🙏
