SHE LOST THREE LIMBS AT JUST 2 — THEN PRESLEY JUNE CHOSE GYMNASTICS

At just 2 years old, Presley June lost her right arm above the elbow, her right leg above the knee and part of her left foot in a traumatic accident.

Now 6, the Kentucky girl has become a compeтιтive gymnast — adapting skills alongside her coach and finding new ways to move, balance and compete.

Her journey began after she watched a performer at a children’s circus in St. Louis. Presley immediately told her mother she wanted to do gymnastics.

Today, she has already qualified for state and regional compeтιтions, sometimes competing as the only athlete in her division. Her mother says Presley doesn’t compare herself with others — she sees her biggest compeтιтion as herself.

One of her proudest moments came when she managed to take steps across the balance beam without ᴀssistance.

Her story has also inspired other young amputees, including one child whose mother said Presley’s videos encouraged her daughter to return to gymnastics.

Presley’s journey is a powerful reminder that a challenge can change the way someone approaches a dream without necessarily taking the dream away.
