On New Year’s Eve 2021, Evalyn was born under extremely critical circumstances. During labor, her heart rate dropped to dangerously low levels, signaling an immediate life-threatening emergency. The medical team rushed into action, doing everything possible to stabilize both mother and child during those tense, uncertain moments.

After birth, Evalyn’s fight had only just begun. She spent her earliest days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), surrounded by machines, monitors, and a team of specialists working tirelessly to support her fragile condition. She underwent multiple medical interventions to stabilize her breathing, nutrition, and overall health. Among her early challenges was a TE fistula (tracheoesophageal fistula), a serious congenital condition that required surgical repair to allow her to eat and breathe safely.
