At just 15 years old, Will Roberts touched hearts around the world with one heartfelt request: he wanted a chance to keep fighting. Diagnosed with stage 4 osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer, Will captured national attention after secretly using his mother’s Facebook account to ask for help accessing an experimental treatment when standard chemotherapy was no longer working. His emotional plea sparked an overwhelming wave of support from strangers, community leaders, and even government officials.

Over the following months, Will’s determination, unwavering faith, and positive spirit inspired countless people to pray alongside his family. Despite enduring immense pain and multiple treatments, he continued encouraging others and became a symbol of hope for families facing childhood cancer.

Tragically, Will pᴀssed away on July 22 after his cancer spread to his brain. His mother shared the heartbreaking news, saying her son was finally “cancer free” and at peace. Tributes quickly poured in from across the country, with Alabama Governor Kay Ivey remembering Will as “a brave young man whose courage inspired us all.”
