Before Brice was even born, his parents learned their little boy would face an extraordinary battle. 💙

During a routine pregnancy scan, doctors diagnosed him with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a rare congenital heart defect. He was also found to have several related heart abnormalities, including a ventricular septal defect (VSD), a heart murmur, a hole in his heart, and an overriding aorta.

What should have been a joyful pregnancy quickly became a journey filled with uncertainty, specialist appointments, and hope. 🙏

From the moment Brice entered the world, he faced challenges most babies never have to endure.

At just two months old, he underwent emergency open-heart surgery. Surgeons successfully repaired the hole in his heart and corrected the ventricular septal defect, giving the tiny infant a chance to grow stronger. 🏥❤️

But his fight wasn’t over.

Only seven months later, at nine months of age, Brice returned to the operating room for a second open-heart surgery. Despite the surgeons’ best efforts, one of his heart valves could not be saved.

For his family, every operation, hospital stay, and recovery brought moments of fear—but also unwavering determination. Through it all, Brice’s incredible strength never faded. 💪💖

Now three years old, Brice is a joyful, energetic little boy who loves to run, play, laugh, and explore the world just like any other child his age. His medical journey is only one part of his story—it does not define who he is. 🌈👦
