Her parents, Johan and Mathilda, both 53, were found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ inside their home in Meerstad, near Groningen. Reports also indicate that the family’s golden retriever was injured during the incident.

As the tragedy unfolded, claims quickly spread that images from inside the house had already begun circulating among students before many people were even aware that a major police investigation was underway.
