White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently shared a heartwarming new pH๏τo of her daughter, Viviana, giving followers a glimpse into her family life as she enjoys time at home with her newborn.

Leavitt posted the pH๏τo on Instagram with the caption, “as sweet as a sundae.”

In the image, baby Viviana, affectionately known as Vivi, is lying on a soft blanket wearing a pale blue striped onesie featuring a small ice cream cone design, a detail that many followers found especially adorable.

Leavitt and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, welcomed their daughter on May 1. At just over one month old, Viviana has already become a beloved part of the family’s social media updates.

After her daughter’s arrival, Leavitt previously shared that her family was enjoying their “newborn bubble” and spending quality time together during these early weeks.

Leavitt announced her pregnancy in December 2025 and described her daughter as “the greatest Christmas gift.”

As the youngest person ever to serve as White House press secretary, Leavitt has balanced a high-profile role with major family milestones over the past year.

She has not publicly confirmed when she will fully return to her regular duties at the White House while caring for her newborn.

Leavitt has also expressed graтιтude to President Donald Trump and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for supporting what she described as a family-friendly workplace environment.

Her maternity leave decisions have previously attracted public attention.

Following the birth of her son, Niko, she returned to work just days later due to major national events, including an ᴀssᴀssination attempt against President Trump that required immediate public briefings.

More recently, another alleged threat against Trump reportedly affected her plans to step away from work for an extended period.

While Leavitt spends time with her family, Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly is expected to ᴀssume some of her responsibilities. Additional support may also come from ᴀssistant press secretaries Taylor Rogers and Liz Huston.
