Former Pro Bowl QB Spotted at Viral NYC Snowball Fight

Mac Jones’ trip to New York allowed him to show off his arm — in the snow.

Jones, the 49ers backup quarterback, posted a video to his TikTok account chucking a few snowballs during the viral snowball snowball fight in Washington Square Park.
In the video, Jones, 27, is seen throwing a few snowballs in the wild scene that enveloped the iconic New York space.
“Snowball launchmaxxing,” Jones wrote in the caption of his video.
When one fan replied to Jones’ TikTok that said the signal-caller was “throwing dots” out there, Jones responded they were “absolute rippers.”

The snowball fight, outside of Jones’ appearance, turned chaotic when NYPD officers were allegedly pelted with the snow. Two of them, according to the NYPD, went to the hospital with injuries.
Gusmane Coulibaly, 27, was arrested Thursday in connection to the incident. New York prosecutors dropped an assault charge against Coulibaly, though he is still facing obstructing governmental administration, which is a misdemeanor.
As for Jones, he also shared a selection of photos from his trip to New York on Instagram, including during the snowstorm and with a snowman.

Questions now loom for the quarterback as he enters the final year of a two-year contract with San Francisco.
As Brock Purdy’s backup, Jones won five games and threw for 2,151 yards and 13 touchdowns against six interceptions.
His 69.6 completion rate marked the best number of his entire NFL career.
