Shocking footage shows the moment a UFO is struck by an American ‘hellfire missile’

Dramatic footage captured by a US drone shows the moment a bright, shiny ‘UFO’ is struck by a missile, only to survive and continue its journey unaffected. Earlier this week, US Congress held its latest hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) – the new term for Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). During the meeting, various videos from military and navy personnel were shown, appearing to show unidentified phenomena captured on camera.

But it was one video in particular, reportedly captured on October 30, 2024, that became the most intriguing. In the footage, captured by an American MQ-9 drone, an orb can be seen travelling off the coast of Yemen. It appears to show the moment that the unidentified bright, shiny orb is struck by an American “hellfire missile”, which then bounces straight off. Representative Eric Burlison called it “startling evidence,” according to News Nation. “A Reaper drone fired a Hellfire missile at this thing,” he said. “And the missile didn’t seem to have any effect.” According to Military.com, this type of missile, officially the AGM-114 Hellfire, is a laser-guided missile made for precision drone strikes and capable of “defeating any known tank in the world today”.

“It kept going, and it looked like the debris was taken with it,” Representative Eric Burlison, who released the footage, said during the hearing.

“I’m not going to speculate what it is, but the question is why are we being blocked from this information?”

According to Mr Burlison, the footage was given to him by a whistleblower.

Other incidents were discussed in Congress, including one witnessed by US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Alexandro Wiggins, who claimed to see an unusual object whilst serving on the USS Jackson in 2023.

“What I observed and what our crew recorded was not consistent with conventional aircraft or drones, as they appear on our system.

“A self-luminous Tic Tac-shaped [object] emerged from the ocean before linking up with three other similar objects. The orb then disappeared simultaneously with a high, synchronized, near-instantaneous acceleration,” Mr Wiggins said during the hearing.

He added that there was no ᴀssociated sonic boom, but radar and other sensors picked it up.
