Plot Summary
Christmas with the Kranks (2004) is a hilarious and heartwarming holiday comedy that asks the question: What happens when you try to skip Christmas in a town that lives for it?
Luther and Nora Krank decide to forgo the há´ssle of holiday traditions and take a Caribbean cruise instead, especially since their daughter wonât be home for Christmas. But their neighborhood isnât having it. From boycotting decorations to being shamed for not hosting their annual party, the Kranks quickly find themselves at odds with an entire community obsessed with holiday cheer.
Things get turned upside down when their daughter unexpectedly announces sheâs coming home for Christmasâgiving the Kranks just a few frantic hours to pull off a miracle and recreate the holiday magic they tried to avoid.
