Years after the explosive events of Cobra Kai, the martial arts world is forever changed. In Karate Kid: Legends, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) — mentor from the 2010 Karate Kid film — joins forces with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) to preserve the spirit of martial arts as new threats emerge from a powerful international fighting syndicate called The Red Fist. 
A new protagonist — Li Wei, a troubled Chinese-American teen recently relocated to Los Angeles — is caught between cultures, anger issues, and a fractured family. 
After a violent street incident, he’s taken under the wing of Mr. Han, who sees in him both great potential and dangerous darkness. At the same time, Daniel and Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) begin rebuilding Miyagi-Do, mentoring kids with discipline, not aggression. 
But when The Red Fist targets the dojo network to establish dominance through underground no-rules tournaments, past legends must unite — Daniel, Johnny, Han, and even former enemies — to train the next generation for a global martial arts showdown where more than pride is at stake.
