While many NFL fans believe that Patrick Mahomes has become one of the sport’s greatest ever quarterbacks, Jared Goff thinks otherwise. 

In the latest season of Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’ series, the Detroit Lions star was asked for his top 10 QBs of all-time and there was no space for the Chiefs star.

In a brief snippet from the show, Goff named Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, John Elway, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. 

Another notable omission included Baltimore Ravens’ two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson – who many believe has worked his way into the top 10 list. 

Notably, Steelers veteran Rodgers was the only active player to have snuck onto Goff’s list, as he threw praise upon some of the sport’s retired stars. 

Goff made sure to reference Brady’s seven Super Bowl тιтles as a reason why the former New England Patriots star was the ‘greatest’ to ever do it.

However, there was no space for two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes on Goff’s list

Goff and Mahomes have battled for the spotlight throughout their NFL careers 

He also mentioned that former 49ers star Montana inspired him to wear the number 16 jersey throughout his own career – having grown up in the Bay Area. 

The 30-year-old has enjoyed an offseason filled with rest and relaxation, as he looks to bounce back from the Lions’ Divisional playoffs defeat to the Commanders. 

Meanwhile, earlier in the week, Goff and his wife Christen welcomed their first child together.

The Detroit Lions quarterback and his influencer wife announced the news with an emotional post on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon. 

The couple shared a series of black-and-white pH๏τos of themselves holding their daughter, who they revealed will be named Romy Isabelle Goff.

There was no caption to the post other than their new daughter’s name. The comments were quickly flooded with congratulatory messages for the duo. 

The couple revealed to the world that they were expecting a child together back in February, when Christen made a public appearance while visibly pregnant.

Christen and Jared met through the celebrity dating app Raya in 2019, the same place where gymnast Simone Biles met her NFL husband, Chicago Bears defender Jonathan Owens, in 2020. 

The Goff’s lives drastically changed when he was traded from the Rams to the Lions in 2021, forcing both to leave Los Angeles behind. 

The couple was in New Orleans to attend the show at the Saenger Theatre has Jared was nominated for MVP and the NFL Man of the Year. 

Goff led the Lions to a 15-2 regular season record before the team was defeated by the Washington Commanders in the Divisional round of the playoffs, ending their season.
