We are inching closer to training camp. Now we move into the top 15 this week in our countdown of the top 25 players on the Jets roster.

This middle group is intriguing because you generally know what to expect from the top of the roster and the players rated lower than this. It is this middle group that could outperform expectations or be worse than expected and have a big effect on the Jets’ season.

There is only one player who is new to the team in this group, but he just happens to be the most important player on the team.

Here is a list of those we considered for the top 25 but just missed: Micheal Clemons, Isaiah Oliver, Tyler Johnson, Malachi Corley, Byron Cowart, Derrick Nnadi, Jay Tufele and Rashad Weaver.
