Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were spotted at the airport on Sunday returning from their Fourth of July celebrations – and the Chiefs star’s better half looked exhausted from their weekend of partying.

The couple had spent time setting sail on a yacht in Miami with friends Miranda and Summitt Hogue, and Brittany’s longtime friend Mallory McDaniels.

And as they returned back home to Kansas City, Brittany could be seen yawning as they prepared to go back to their three children.

Both she and Patrick went for a dressed-down travel look as they wore white t-shirts and sneakers, with the quarterback wearing a baseball cap as well.

Patrick could also be seen carrying a backpack while Brittany held her cell phone in her hand. 

Two days earlier, Brittany dressed in red, white and blue as she and Patrick celebrated America’s Independence Day on the water with friends.

Brittany was seen sporting the stars and stripes in a blue one-piece swimsuit with a white shirt decorated with blue stars draped over her shoulders. The mother-of-three topped off the look with a red and white cap. 

Meanwhile, her NFL beau opted to go shirtless in matching blue trunks.

Mahomes is enjoying some well-earned time off before returning to the Chiefs for training camp on July 22.

And he’s expected to come back with a vengeance after a disastrous showing in Super Bowl LIX.

In the blowout 40-22 loss to the Eagles, Mahomes lost three turnovers, including two costly interceptions and one which was returned for a touchdown.

He also took six sacks as Philly’s defense put him at unease.

Five months on from his failed Super Bowl three-peat, he revealed that Tom Brady was recently on hand with some words of wisdom in the offseason.

‘I’ve talked to Tom a good amount this offseason, and it’s cool that he wants to give me advice,’ Mahomes said in an interview with Kay Adams for her ‘Up & Adams Show.

‘He doesn’t have to be like that, he’s such a good dude and I have so much respect for him and I’ll take any advice he gives me.’

‘He always talks about being yourself,’ he continued about the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback. ‘Guys can spot when you’re not authentic and you’re not putting in the work.

‘That’s something that he did every single day. That’s why guys respected him so much.’

Mahomes didn’t go into too much detail on the advice he’d received from the NFL’s ‘GOAT,’ but explained how Brady urged him to continue being ‘authentic’.

‘He always talks about being yourself,’ he continued about the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback. ‘Guys can spot when you’re not authentic and you’re not putting in the work.

‘That’s something that he did every single day. That’s why guys respected him so much.’

Mahomes and the Chiefs will begin their season on September 5 against the Chargers.
