According to online conspiracy theorists, an alien mothership has been captured above the moon, followed by a swarm of small UFOs.
Four objects can be seen traveling across the lunar horizon in remarkable images captured by an amateur skywatcher.
A larger “craft” appears in the center, surrounded by three smaller UFOs, before disappearing beneath the moon.
Skywatch International, an amateur skywatcher, posted the footage on YouTube. It has now been reposted on UFOmania, a popular conspiracy website.
In their review of the video, they commented: “It appears to be a fleet of UFOs, a large mothership accompanied by several smaller UFOs.”
The video has since been viewed more than 6,000 times, with many viewers taking to the comments section to voice their opinions.
One added: “They are landing at one of the bases on the side of the moon that is not visible from Earth.”
“Definitely an alien spacecraft,” one of them hypothesized.
Some speculated that the government’s enigmatic Space Force was at work. Others, however, said the video was a hoax.
