A bizarre video has captured what UFO enthusiasts believe to be an alien spacecraft flying through the night sky over the US.

The narrator said: “The reason that I’m calling this an alien craft, rather than simply a UFO, is because when you look at this thing up close […] we can see the true structural characteristics of this ship.”

After recording the footage, the father and son duo claimed they saw two military helicopters flying after the ‘spacecraft’.
They described the flying object as “eerily silent” as it flew overhead.
Two bright flashing lights can also be seen for a very brief second towards the end of the footage although it is not clear whether they are part of the aircraft.
