Travis Kelce has postponed his annual ‘Kelce Jam’ music festival in Kansas City.

The Chiefs star made the announcement on social media on Tuesday. He didn’t offer a specific reason behind the move but told fans: ‘Kelce Jam is planning ahead for 2026.

‘Although we’ll miss being with you this year, we’re taking this time to gear up for an even bigger, better, and more unforgettable experience next summer. 

‘Stay tuned for exciting updates and announcements. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again soon.’

Last May, Kelce welcomed artists Lil Wayne, 2 Chainza and Diplo to the Azura Amphitheatre, along with 20,000 fans. There was, however, no sign of girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Until now, it had appeared that Kelce was planning ahead with the event, offering tickets for the festival later this summer in compeтιтions he held earlier this year.

But he has been keeping a low profile this summer, staying out of the spotlight and enjoying downtime with his girlfriend Swift. 

The announcement comes hours after he made a rare public appearance in New York, alongside older brother Jason at an Amazon Prime event. 

He was also pictured with Swift and Jason in Philadelphia on Sunday as part of a Mother’s Day brunch. 

But overall, the high-profile couple seem to have made a conscious effort to avoid the limelight since February’s Super Bowl, where the Chiefs were blown away by the Philadelphia Eagles. 

That loss, which ruined Kansas City’s hopes of becoming the first team to achieve a Super Bowl ‘three-peat’, left Kelce on the brink of retirement.

He eventually decided to play on and since then, appears to be leaving no stone unturned ahead of what, as it stands, is the final season he is contracted for with the Chiefs. 

Since then, he was pictured once in New York with Swift as well as an apparent ski trip together to Utah. Daily Mail also exclusively pictured him in Boca Raton, Florida after a workout but there was no sign Swift was around.

Days after, Kelce headed to Las Vegas to compete in Justin Timberlake’s charity golf tournament alongside his brother, Jason.

That night, he enjoyed a poker night with his fellow compeтιтors. But golf appears to be forming a big part of Kelce’s downtime this year.

A month ago, he was pictured playing the iconic Pinehurt golf course with Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and he is also scheduled to be in Tahoe in July for a compeтιтion, again with Jason.
