Jayden Daniels’ mom lifts the lid on her son’s dating life and slams ‘predators’ coming for his cash

Jayden Daniels' mom lifts the lid on her son's dating life and slams 'predators' coming for his cash

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has a watchful eye upon him at nearly all times in the form of his business manager and agent, Regina Jackson.

But Jackson has been playing a more important role throughout Daniels’ life: mother.

Jackson recently made an appearance on ‘The Pivot’ podcast for their Mother’s Day episode where she opened up about her son’s dating life.

It’s a touchy subject for Jackson, who once said that her biggest fear for the Commanders star’s career was ‘them girls’ who could try and get to him.

She expanded upon that in the episode: ‘The whole girls comment was made first of all two years [ago], when he was at LSU. It was a question [I was] asked, ‘What is your biggest fear?’

‘That should be every parents’ biggest fear… men and women… because you’re a public figure and your dollar amount is ᴀssociated with your name. So you never know who’s really there for you and who’s really against you.’

Jackson continued: ‘The thing is, he doesn’t know what he doesn’t know and he knows football and he does it very well… but he doesn’t know the business world.

‘He doesn’t know the predators or the vultures that could be out there. So he feels very comfortable in knowing that not only am I educated and qualified to do it, I’m also his mom.’

Jackson is a certified sports agent and is highly educated – with two Masters degrees in entrepreneurial business and hospital administration.

But despite her concerns over any potential people looking to profit off her son, Jackson wants Daniels to live his own life.

‘I’m putting it on record. My son can date, he can live freely, make his own decisions,’ she said.

‘However, with the relationship we have, he does value my opinion because when my kids were little, I did a lot for them and my kids saw that.’

She added: ‘I worked too hard to allow anybody and at any moment to come in and just take it away. So I have a view of what I feel a good person is.

‘But my son is 24, and he does have to go through things and he has to learn on his own. He’s a great kid, I’m thankful for him… He’s not like some of these other guys.

‘He’s really to himself, a homebody… So I’m trying to work on his life after sports, because at some point it does end.’

Jackson has been accused of ‘hovering’ around Daniels on a number of occasions – including recently when the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year was on a date with an unnamed woman in Miami.

She was also seen in the background of a video where her son was seen dancing at the wedding of San Francisco 49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk.

Jackson also sat herself between her son and USC women’s basketball star Juju Watkins during a March Madness game.

Despite her protective tendencies, Daniels has appeared grateful for his mother’s advice and intuition.

‘Nothing gets past my mama,’ he said during an interview with Boardroom in December 2024. ‘She reads people, she doesn’t want to put people around me that she doesn’t feel will benefit me.’
