Jenkins does not speak to police, but police are heard discussing the incident with a man who is standing just off camera, who explains the situation is over and the club agreed to return the group’s money.
The man also said that someone’s phone was snatched but returned before police arrived.
‘He gonna send the money back, they good, they gonna go home or wherever else they gonna go, nobody’s going to jail,’ the man is heard telling officers.
One officer said he planned to ‘hang out’ until they ‘made that happen.’
A moment later, one officer is heard confirming: “They good? Ok.”
Jenkins has primarily played guard over his six-year career but is now expected to move to center with the team’s addition of guard Aaron Banks.
Green Bay was 11-6 last season as Jenkins started each game and the team’s Wild Card loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jenkins has two seasons left on the four-year, $68 million deal he signed with the Packers before the 2023 season. He’s made more than $45 million in salary since being drafted by Green Bay in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
