Bill Belichick’s CBS interview horror wasn’t the only shocking intervention into his media affairs his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson has conducted, it has emerged.
Hudson, who went viral at the weekend for her awkward interruption of Belichick’s interview with CBS Mornings, is said to have played an ‘instrumental role’ in torpedoing the University of North Carolina head coach’s ‘Hard Knocks’ project, according to The Athletic.
‘Hard Knocks’ – HBO’s iconic longstanding football docuseries – was reportedly set to follow the New England Patriots legend’s foray into college football in Chapel Hill after Belichick, 73, accepted the UNC job back in December.
Filming was reportedly slated to begin on March 1, marking the start of filmmakers’ two-month stint on the Tar Heels’ campus as Belichick ᴀssembled his first UNC team.
However, the deal is said to have fallen apart shortly before the cameras descended on Chapel Hill and Hudson, multiple industry sources with knowledge of the negotiations told The Athletic, was allegedly in part to blame.
The former cheerleader, who identifies as the chief operating officer of Belichick Productions according to emails to UNC officials, reportedly played a considerable part in halting the production.

The 24-year-old reportedly requested to be heavily involved in the project
The Athletic reports that Hudson’s intervention stemmed from her request to be heavily involved in the project. However, it is currently unclear what requests she made.
DailyMail.com has reached out to HBO, UNC and NFL Films, which oversees the production of ‘Hard Knocks,’ for comment.
On March 3 – two days after production was set to get underway – Jessica Boddy, the NFL’s vice president for commercial operations and business affairs, is claimed to have sent an email to UNC officials, confirming that their filmmakers would no longer be proceeding with the project.
Boddy’s sole brief explanation for the sudden deterioration of weeks-long negotiations was that ‘conversation took a turn we were not comfortable with.’
Emails, also obtained by The Athletic, previously showed that Hudson has had an unofficial role in Belichick’s UNC career since his hiring with the football coach requesting his much younger lover be included in all correspondence to him from the school.
Communications from February showed the Miss Maine USA hopeful pleading with the university’s communications team to censor social media comments about the couple’s relationship and 48-year age gap.
‘Is there anyone monitoring the UNC Football page for slanderous commentary and subsequently deleting it / blocking users that are harᴀssing BB in the comments?’ Hudson reportedly asked on February 13.
Although Hudson does not have a contract or any other employment agreement with the school, it does appear that she has somewhat of a professional link to Belichick.

It was also revealed that Hudson’s email signature lists her as ‘the chief operating officer of Belichick Productions.’
However, the тιтle only sparked more mystery as the outlet states it could not find a registered business record of Belichick Productions.
NFL Films’ decision to back out of the allegedly agreed-upon deal reportedly meant bringing an end to a project that Belichick himself had requested, which shrouds the halt in yet further mystery as emails reportedly show that it was the head coach who was wavering towards the end of negotiations.
According to The Athletic, emails from school administrators and filmmakers showed preparations for the project developing as far as a pitch, on-campus camera logistics and even promotional materials being established. An announcement date had reportedly even been earmarked for the NFL Scouting Combine.
The Tar Heels, who were said to be ‘excited’ about the potential show, were reportedly in position to make an announcement by February 28 with news of an impending deal then inevitably beginning to filter out through media reports.
The following day, UNC’s Office of University Counsel reportedly received authorization to start receiving contracts to sign.
But just 48 hours later, the communications between the two parties is reported to have soured with the deal ultimately collapsing.
NFL Films is said to have offered to reimburse North Carolina for any expenses the school had incurred before parting with a final message of ‘We should proceed with wrapping this up.’

The collapse allegedly meant a loss of $200,000 in facilities fees and further exposure for the school.
The bombshell report comes three days after Hudson sparked a frenzy with her awkward interjection during Belichick’s interview with CBS Mornings, which aired Sunday.
During the eight-minute clip, Belichick was asked how the couple met before a stony-faced Hudson interjected from the producer’s table and said: ‘We’re not talking about this.’
It emerged Monday morning that it reportedly wasn’t the first time Hudson, who was described as ‘a constant presence during our interview’ by Dokoupil, muscled in to the questioning.
TMZ later reported that Hudson at one point stormed out of the interview – delaying shooting for around 30 minutes. Hudson reportedly wanted Belichick to leave the room with her, and Dokoupil is said to have been ‘spooked’ by the overall experience.
Furthermore, CBS producers were said to be befuddled that Belichick arrived to the interview with no one from his book’s publishing company or UNC, while a planned second interview was ultimately canceled.
CBS executives reportedly got involved in the final edit of the interview, with the inclusion of the awkward Hudson moment seemingly a very intentional decision by the network.
ProFootballTalk reported that Hudson’s numerous interruptions caused the network to include the one example of her shutting down a question.

On Tuesday, in the aftermath of the CBS train-wreck, Hudson posted a blistering email penned by her 73-year-old boyfriend.
In what appeared to be a preemptive rebuke, the New England Patriots legend launched an attack on the media via Hudson, who shared a picture of an April 10 email to members of his camp.
The message showed Belichick unhappy with unnamed media coverage surrounding his new book, albeit before his nightmare CBS interview that is now dominating the narrative around them.
‘I don’t think this is fantastic, but it probably will hype the book, which is clearly the ongoing theme here…,’ Belichick began his correspondence. ‘This is about what I expected from the media.’
