While Philadelphia Eagles players carefully navigated the current political climate at Monday’s White House visit, one Super Bowl champion made his support for President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter abundantly clear.
‘Donald trump daughter is beautiful damn,’ Eagles cornerback Eli Ricks wrote on X.
And just in case he left any doubt, the 23-year-old California native added another post.
‘After seeing her in person Ivanka is exactly my type,’ he followed.
Online reaction was almost instantaneous.
In response to Ricks’ comment about the 43-year-old married mother of three, fans politely suggested he pump the breaks a bit.

‘take a break dude,’ one fan wrote amid a wave of similar messages, like ‘Chill out big bro.’
Others suggested Ricks ‘just got banned from the’ White House.
However, many Eagles fans enjoyed Ricks’ optimism.
‘This is the kinda confidence I wanna see in a defensive back,’ one wrote.
As for absent husband Jared Kushner, Eagles fans told Ricks not to give him a second thought.
‘You’ll never intercept the ball if you never jump a route,’ one fan explained.
Ricks’ X account is not verified. However, the team has included that same ‘@eliasricks’ handle in previous posts.

Most of the Eagles roster traveled 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to toast their Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, despite a number of prominent players, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, side stepping the invitation.
Wide receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, as well as defensive stars like Jalen Carter, Brandon Graham, Darius Slay, Jordan Davis, Zack Baun, Nakobe Dean and CJ Gardner-Johnson were also absent, according to reports.
The missing players are said to be absent due to ‘scheduling conflicts,’ according to NBC News’s Yamiche Alcindor.
