Amid a brutal NFL Draft weekend for his family, Shilo Sanders actually fired his father, Deion, as his agent.
Shilo’s brother, Shedeur, – at one point tipped to be a top-five pick – tumbled all the way to the fifth round, while defensive back Shilo ultimately went undrafted.
And after Shedeur was finally picked by the Browns with the 144th pick, Shilo decided it was time to get traditional representation.
‘Dad was our agent. But that hasn’t been working out too good,’ he told Shedeur on a Twitch stream.
‘So today I had to sign with an agent, bro. So we gon’ see what happens.’
Powerful NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus later announced that Shilo had signed with his agency.

Both Shedeur and Shilo had navigated the NFL Draft process with their father representing them, though that proved to be particularly disastrous for Shedeur as he didn’t hear his name called until Day 3 of the Draft.
Shilo landed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent shortly after the Draft concluded.
Shedeur’s mᴀssive slide has been H๏τly debated in recent days, with Stephen A. Smith calling it ‘[Colin] Kaepernick-level collusion.’
His former ESPN colleague Skip Bayless also called it the ‘damnedest, most disgusting, most despicable, most shocking, most preposterous plunge in the history of the NFL Draft

The former Jackson State and Colorado pᴀsser did not participate in any drills at the NFL Combine, and reportedly flubbed interviews with several franchises.
Nonetheless, he’ll have a chance to prove he is Cleveland’s quarterback of the future as he competes with third-rounder Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco, while Deshaun Watson could miss all of 2025 with an Achilles injury.
‘I’ve just got to prove and show what I’m capable of,’ Shedeur told local media after he was picked.
‘But what fuels me is my purpose in life and understanding the route that we’re going to have to take. Understanding that I was able to get an opportunity when a lot of people didn’t want to give me an opportunity. So that’s what I’m truly thankful for. So that’s what fuels me.’
