Raiders pick star running back Ashton Jeanty at No. 6 in Tom Brady’s first NFL draft as owner

Ashton Jeanty is Sin City bound.

The Boise State star went to the Raiders withthe No. 6 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft after the Browns, who traded down from No. 2 to No. 5, took defensive tackle Mason Graham.

While playing a position that has been devalued over the years, Jeanty still found himself in the top six likely due to his speed and strength at 5-foot-8, 211 lbs., and also the resurgence the run game is seeing in the league thanks to the talents of Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey and Derrick Henry.

Across 14 games, he scored 29 touchdowns to lead the MWC conference. Additionally, Jeanty had 23 receptions for 138 yards and one touchdown.
