The son of Giants GM Joe Schoen may have tipped off one of the team’s planned NFL Draft picks a night before the big event.
Carson, the high school son of Schoen, allegedly posted a highlight reel of Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart to his Instagram story before setting his account to private.
The apparent post was relayed by NFL analyst Warren Sharp on X.
While the Giants have already signed quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason, the team is also looking for its pᴀsser of the future and there’s been a ton of recent buzz about the Giants adding Dart.
Though it appears unlikely the Giants would select him at No. 3 overall, as Abdul Carter all but confirmed to reporters New York would be picking him, Dart could be an option in the second round or if the Giants trade back into the first.
ESPN’s Peter Schrager, for example, predicted the Giants to acquire the No. 26 pick from the Rams to grab Dart, while Todd McShay has Dart going to New York at No. 28 after a deal with the Lions.

The Giants currently own an early second-round pick at No. 34 overall.
Whether Carson – who plays quarterback himself at Don Bosco Prep – is simply an admirer of Dart’s game, or has inside information, this isn’t the first time he’s been become a story in regards to the Giants’ Draft plans.
Last offseason, while the Giants were filmed for the first (and potentially last) offseason version of Hard Knocks, Carson went viral for urging his dad to trade up from No. 6 to get LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.
‘You only get this job once! Might as well try to win,’ he said to his father.
Ultimately, Daniels went to the Commanders at No. 2 and had a stellar debut season, winning Rookie of the Year and taking Washington the NFC Championship Game.
Carson’s apparent post comes after quarterback Cam Ward essentially confirmed the тιтans would be taking him No. 1 overall.
Asked for his top NFL running backs during a video game livestream, the 22-year-old casually responded with a pair of Tennessee тιтans stars: ‘Tony Pollard, [Tyjae] Spears.’
Then, when asked for his favorite receivers, Ward conspicuously named тιтans teammates Treylon Burks and Calvin Ridley.
Shedeur Sanders, a potential option for the Steelers at No. 21, also did something similar when he name-dropped Pittsburgh receivers George Pickens and DK Metcalf during an interview on Maxx Crosby’s The Rush podcast.
Whatever the Giants decide to do, it will be revealed soon with the Draft starting at 8pm ET on Thursday.
