The Tennessee тιтans will not be trading their No. 1 overall pick in Thursday’s NFL Draft, it has been reported.
The franchise, who brought in new general manager Mike Borgonzi in January, reportedly received interest in the pick.
However, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, they will hold onto the pick in Thursday’s draft – with all indications pointing towards them picking quarterback Cam Ward.
Rapoport cited a source as saying: ‘They never opened the door.’
Borgonzi previously said in late March that ‘everything is still on the table’ regarding the Draft.
However, Ward seemingly confirmed he was headed to the тιтans last week when he dropped a mᴀssive hint during a video game livestream.
Miami quarterback Cam Ward is expected to go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee тιтans
Asked for his top NFL running backs, the 22-year-old casually responded with a pair of тιтans stars: ‘Tony Pollard, [Tyjae] Spears.’
Then, when asked for his favorite receivers, Ward named тιтans teammates Treylon Burks and Calvin Ridley.
