The 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indiana will kick off with the All-Star Celebrity Game at Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday night.

Leading their respective teams of athletes, musicians, social media influencers and tv and film stars are Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe. While the two sports analysts see each other most mornings on ESPN’s First Take, they will go head-to-head in a different arena as opposing coaches on Friday. 

The Celebrity All-Star Game will tip off at 7pm ET from the home of the Indianapolis Colts. 

Fans viewing at home can watch their favorite stars ball out on ESPN and on the ESPN App. 

Team Shannon’s musicians include Anuel AA, Walker Hayes and SiR. On the entertainment side, he brings on streamer Kai Cenat, actor Quincy Isaiah, actor Dylan Wang and TV and internet personality Lily Singh.

First Take hosts Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe will go head to head as coaches 

Team Sharpe will feature the likes of streamer Kai Cenat and Cowboys star Micah Parsons

Texans quarterback CJ Stroud and Super Bowl winner Mecole Hardman Jr. join Team Smith 

Sharpe’s side will also feature some athletic prowess with IndyCar Series driver Conor Daly, WNBA star Jewell Loyd, and NFL players Puka Nacua and Micah Parsons. 

On the other hand, Team Stephen A. features musicians Adam Blackstone, Jennifer Hudson and AJ McLeen of the Backstreet Boys. Smith’s team also boasts content creator Tristan Jᴀss, award-winning chef Kwame Onwuachi, and basketball entertainer Jack Ryan. 

The ESPN star will have plenty of athletic advantage with WNBA star Natasha Cloud, NBA veteran Metta Sandiford-Artest, Olympic high jump champion Gianmarco Tamberi, and NFL stars Mecole Hardman Jr. and CJ Stroud in his roster.

While the teams lack no star power, the respective coaching staffs also hold some big names in sports and music. Joining Smith on the sideline are A’Ja Wilson and Lil Wayne. On the other side, Sharpe teams up with Peyton Manning and 50 Cent. 

After the celebrity game wraps up at Lucas Oil Stadium, the Rising Stars showcase will tip off from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the home of the Indiana Pacers.
