Caleb Williams brutally mocked on social media after admitting he cried after losing games last season

Chicago Bears star Caleb Williams has been mocked by NFL fans on social media after admitting in a recent interview he cried last season after losing games.

Williams came into the NFL with lofty expectations as the No 1 overall pick on a team that looked poised to make a playoff push.

Neither happened, as the Bears went 5-12 and watched every other team in the NFC North make the postseason.

‘When I got home, I got in my bed. I just dropped a few tears. And I was just so beat-up mentally, physically, spiritually. I think those losses were pretty important for me and my growth,’ Williams said to Esquire.

‘To go on a losing streak, to be in this position and be at the helm of it, was definitely important for me. Just being able to see how I need to be when times are bad… I’m going to work my tail off to never be in that situation again.’

NFL fans have not taken well to the news of Williams crying, blasting him on social media.

‘Man he’s so easy to hate lmao,’ one NFL fan said.

‘Brother cries at every minor inconvenience in life,’ another football supporter stated. ‘Just wait till bears fans turn on him in year 3 when he’s still buns.’

‘I’m fairly certain that some Bears fans care more than he does about winning,’ a third said.

‘Dude needs to deal with real world problems,’ one final fan concluded.

The Bears have a new head coach in Ben Johnson that is sure to make expectations rise in Chicago once again for this coming season.

Williams was drafted one pick before fellow Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, who led the Washington Commanders to their first NFC Championship Game appearance in over 30 years.

Daniels also beat out Williams for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, emulating the success Bears fans wish their signal caller had.

A tough road ahead still remains in the Windy City for Williams, with Chicagoans hoping year No 2 is better for its quarterback.
