Ex-NFL star Aaron Donald shocks fans with incredible body transformation a year after hanging up his cleats

NFL legend Aaron Donald has shown off his current physique to his fans, shocking them with how shredded he is more than a year after retiring from the NFL.

During his playing days, the 6-foot-1 Donald weighed in at 280 pounds and was one of the most dominant defensive tackles in NFL history.

The now-33-year-old looks to have slimmed down a little since his days of attempting to throw quarterbacks to the turf have ended.

Yet, the future Hall of Famer has kept his six pack and wall of muscles intact, sparking some to think he is ready for an NFL comeback.

Donald has shown no interest in returning to the gridiron since walking away from the Rams, where he spent his entire 10-year career.

That has not stopped Donald from showing off how much he has worked out since stepping away from the NFL on Instagram.

As a sign of how hard Donald works out to keep his physique intact, it was revealed last month he made a ‘Make-A-Wish’ kid puke in a trash can while working out together by former teammate Matthew Stafford.

Per Make-A-Wish America, kids between the ages of 3 and 18 living with a critical illness can become a affiliated with the organization to have a wish granted. One high-school aged child chose for his wish to be a day with Donald

‘And thankfully, this kid, at that point, had kind of beaten the odds, and had beaten the cancer that he had, I believe, and was really on the mend,’ Stafford said on an episode of ‘New Heights’ with Travis and Jason Kelce.

‘And it was really cool, he came in and you’re like, ‘Oh man, this guy’s like, doing good, right?’ High school kid, bigger kid, loved to play football. And AD was like, ‘Cool, come work out with me.’

‘I’m walking by, I’m like, ‘Yo what [is about to go down]?’ I’m over there doing like banded something. And like, 30 minutes in, and AD is just ripping curls out. Next thing you know, this kid is puking in the trash can.’

At that point Stafford interjected and wanted to make sure the kid was alright, knowing his wish was granted likely after months of chemotherapy.

Donald did confirm the story after it became public, pointing out that the high schoolers finished the workout after the upchuck.
