Giants holding private workouts with more QBs before 2025 NFL Draft

Shedeur Sanders isn’t the only quarterback the Giants are getting a close look at ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The franchise is also expected to hold private workouts with Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The news comes one day after news broke that Sanders would go through a private workout for Giants brᴀss on Thursday in Colorado.

The Giants, who hold the No. 3 overall pick, have also been linked to Sanders’ Colorado teammate, cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter, and Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter.

With Miami quarterback Cam Ward is widely expected to go No. 1 to the тιтans, the Giants could opt to select whomever among Hunter and Carter the Browns at No. 2 pᴀss on, barring a surprise pick.

Russell Wilson, who signed a one-year deal with the Giants in late March, is currently QB1 on the team’s depth chart with Jameis Winston as the backup behind him.

With veterans Wilson and Winston in tow, the Giants are looking for their quarterback of the future after moving on from Daniel Jones midseason in 2024.

If they like Milroe or Shough, the Giants could trade down from No. 3 or use a later pick to select either signal-caller as both players are not expected to go anywhere near the top of the draft.

Milroe spent four years at Alabama, serving as the Crimson Tide’s starting quarterback in each of the past two seasons.

At 25 years old, Shough is an older prospect, but he impressed during his first and only season at Louisville, throwing for 3,195 yards with 23 touchdowns and only six interceptions while leading the Cardinals to a 9-4 record.
