Following the release of his annual physical examination results, sports fans are comparing the tape between their favorite athletes and US President Donald Trump.
The 78-year-old ruler has been given a generally clean bill of health – save an elevated blood pressure level.
But perhaps most surprisingly was Trump’s height and weight that was signed off on by his physician – Captain Sean Barbabella of Walter Reed Medical Center.
The captain signed off that Trump’s height and weight was 6-foot-3, 224 pounds.
This came as a surprise to many – with some racing off to compare his listed height and weight with those of stars in the NFL and NBA.
Analyzing the listed height and weights of every NFL and NBA roster listed on ESPN, only two athletes clocked in at exactly 6-foot-3, 224.

His reported height and weight of 6-foot-3, 224 pounds is only matched by two athletes in the NFL: Detroit Lions linebacker Anthony Pittman and Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Ben Skowronek
Those were two NFL players: Detroit Lions linebacker Anthony Pittman and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Ben Skowronek.
Pittman has totaled 56 games played and 31 total tackles across five seasons. Skowronek has managed just 63 catches and 644 yards for one touchdown over 55 games in four seasons.
So that’s to say, neither of these athletes are necessarily head and shoulders above their peers.
However, there are plenty of star athletes that are near Trump’s range if you bump out the margins.
The most notable example is Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The former MVP is one inch shorter and one pound heavier than Trump.
The president is the same height but one pound lighter than Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun, and Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Cooper Rush.
Trump is also the same height but one pound heavier than Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The comparisons don’t stop in just the NFL.
Over in the NBA, the president stands one inch shorter and one pound lighter than Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards.
This isn’t the first time that Trump has released some medical information in his time in the White House, having done so during his first term in the Oval Office.
In Capt. Barbabella’s notes, he wrote, ‘President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.’
Barbabella added, ‘President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.
The report also said ‘His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being’ while bizarrely citing his multiple golfing ‘victories’.
