Russell Wilson getting to work with new Giants teammates after signing

Russell Wilson has spent a lot of time training with his new Giants teammates after signing a one-year deal last month.

The veteran quarterback had a “good work day” on the field at Georgia Tech with Giants wide receivers Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson and тιԍнт end Theo Johnson, as seen in a pH๏τo posted Friday to Wilson’s Instagram Story.

“Good few days with the Boyzzz!” Wilson, 36, wrote.

He also thanked the Georgia Tech football program for having them.

Wilson included a snapsH๏τ of the Georgia Tech weight room, and tagged the group in it, along with his strength coaches.

Taking to X, Wilson posted a snapsH๏τ of him throwing in an empty Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field in Atlanta.

“Love the game,” he wrote.

The former Super Bowl champ previously worked out with Giants тιԍнт ends Daniel Bellinger and Greg Dulcich, and Falcons wideout Jesse Matthews, as seen in a since expired image earlier this week.

During his introductory press conference with the Giants last month, Wilson was adamant about getting to work as quickly as possible.

The Giants’ quarterback room went through a transformation this offseason after a lowly 3-14 mark last season, with the exception of Tommy DeVito.

In January, Giants president John Mara told reporters that it was a priority for the team to find its quarterback of the future.

Last month, the Giants signed Wilson and veteran Jameis Winston in the same week to short-term deals.

Wilson’s one-year contract was worth $10.5 million, while Winston agreed to terms on a two-year, $8 million deal.

The Giants have the No 3 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, which will take place from April 24-26.

Former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is a possible pick for the Giants in the first round of the draft.

However, the Giants could explore different options after adding two veteran quarterbacks.

“Going into it, we can go any direction,” Giants general manager Joe Schoen said at the annual NFL league meetings earlier this month. “We can go play a game right now, so it doesn’t force you into a corner or force you to have to take something based on need. So, it gives us optionality to go many different directions.”

Wilson will wear No. 3, which was his jersey number with the Seahawks, Broncos and Steelers across his 13-year career, with the Giants.

Cornerback Deonte Banks, who wore No, 3 last year, gave it up to give to Wilson.

The Giants begin their voluntary offseason workout program on April 21, followed by mandatory minicamp from June 17-19.
