Archaeologists have recently come up with an explanation for a peculiar artifact shaped like an early mobile phone dating back about 800 years.
The archaeologists reportedly discovered the artifact during an excavation in Austria. The object is believed to be a clay replica of a mobile phone with a keyboard that bears Sumerian cuneiform characters – one of the earliest writing systems that appeared in the 13th century.
Artifact Discovered Like an Early Mobile Phone
The Paranormal Crucible website claims: “This is evidence of an advanced civilization or time travel.”
The site’s editor says: “The cuneiform keyboard, which dates back to around 3,500-3,000 BC, is a special type of writing that was deciphered in the 19th century.”
The cuneiform writing system is found in most areas in Iran and Iraq.
According to the report, the excavation was carried out in Fuschl am See, Salzburg, Austria. While the writing on this artifact is cuneiform writing found in Iran or Iraq (ancient Mesopotamia). Therefore, the information about the “phone” is not authentic.
Scott C Waring, editor of UFO, said: “It is clear that the artifact looks very similar to a mobile phone, a device for the future at that time.” But the appearance in the video is only a person wearing white gloves holding a strange object shaped like a phone. Many people think that this is a social media hoax to attract readers’ curiosity.
