Ex-NFLer Mike Pouncey puts stunning $6.95m Fort Lauderdale mansion on the market with one very unique detail

A former NFL standout has listed his luxury Florida mansion for sale – and prospective buyers are going to have a field day.

Mike Pouncey, a former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman, has put his stunning Fort Lauderdale property on the market for a staggering $6.95 million.

The sleek, contemporary residence, which is located in the exclusive Las Olas neighborhood of the South Florida city, boasts an expansive five bedrooms and six bathrooms, sprawling over 5,595 sq.ft.

But that isn’t even the most eye-catching part. A one-of-a-kind football field takes pride of place in the property’s magnificent waterfront exterior.

The residence, which occupies two plots of land, features the sports field which runs the full length of the lot from the glimmering canal streaming behind the property to the front drive.

Pouncey, paying homage to his former NFL team, has painted the turf to resemble the Dolphins’ field but future owners have the luxury of transforming it into a soccer pitch or putting green if they desire.

A resort-style pool and summer kitchen sit behind the home alongside the field, while a dock runs at the back, offering access to the canal and the ocean beyond it.

Inside the striking home, floor to ceiling windows offer spectacular sweeping views of the waterfront yard and downtown Fort Lauderdale.

On the lower level the open-concept layout includes a sleek gourmet kitchen with an oversized island which flows into a decadent, spacious living area, making the home perfect for entertaining.

Meanwhile, the third floor boasts a host of opulent amenities, including a home gym, wet bar and outdoor terrace.

The property, build in 2020, offers elevator access, merging affluence with functionality.

Integrated with Control4 smart home systems, the home also offers plenty of space for vehicles thanks to its two-car garage and dual driveway.

The listing, which is held by Kimberly Knausz of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, is in a prime location with high-end shopping, dining and beaches on the doorstep.

Pouncey enjoyed a breakout college career with the University of Florida, helping lead the Gators to a BCS National Championship.

The center also earned an All-American nod before being drafted by the Miami Dolphins with the 15th overall pick in 2011.

He went on to enjoy a decade-long career in the NFL, including stints with the Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers.

The 35-year-old hung up his cleats in February 2021, alongside his twin brother Maurkice Pouncey.
