тιтans give latest clue Cam Ward is going No. 1 in NFL Draft

The тιтans are planning on holding an additional private workout with Cam Ward after being on hand for his Pro Day on Monday.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news of the private workout and reported that Tennessee had become “increasingly impressed” with the University of Miami product, changing the organization’s posture around a potential trade for the No. 1 overall pick.

The тιтans are believed to still be willing to listen to offers for the top pick in the April draft, but it may take a major haul for them to part ways with the selection, Schefter also reported.

The тιтans seemed to be honing in on Ward as the draft nears, with the team taking him out to dinner on Sunday, per multiple reports, and having had their in-house production crews on hand to document  Ward’s pro day, The Athletic reported.

Team president Burke Nihill, general manager Mike Borgonzi and head coach Brian Callahan were all in attendance for his pro pay.

Ward spoke positively about the possibility of playing for Callahan.

“I think coach Callahan’s one of the best head coaches out there,” Ward said, according to ESPN. “The things he did with Joe Burrow when he first got into the league made him be real successful.”

Ward seemed pretty confident as well about the showing he put on this week for NFL teams.

“[I told them] ‘I’m solidifying it today,’” Ward said. “They finally got to see me throw in person. That should be all they need to see.”

Ward had been seen a number of times talking with тιтans brᴀss during his Pro Day and Callahan later told reporters that there was  “a lot to like about” the Miami QB.

“He’s focused, he’s determined. It’s important to him. He wants to be a really good player,” the тιтans coach said.
