Influencer impersonates Texans superstar QB CJ Stroud to get into Houston rodeo for free

Social-media influencer ColinDrum snuck into a Houston rodeo posing as Texans quarterback CJ Stroud recently, posting his free trip to NRG Stadium online.

ColinDrum and Stroud do have a striking resemblance, with the influencer wearing one of Stroud’s jerseys when showing up to the venue.

The video at NRG Stadium starts with ColinDrum already past traditional venue entrance, talking with what appears to be security about his appearance.

ColinDrum, as Stroud, said he could not go in through the regular gate because he was recording it. Stadium security buys the reasoning, with others starting to take pictures with him immediately.

Stroud is the most recognizable face in Houston sports, with maybe the exception of Astros star Jose Altuve.

No one appeared to double-check identification or any other facts about ColinDrum, including his height, which is visibly shorter than Stroud’s 6-foot-3 frame.

Also, no one found it odd Stroud would wear his own jersey out in public during his own time, which is incredibly rare for NFL players.

The video ends with ColinDrum marveling that his plan worked to get in for free.

Stroud, nor the Texans, have commented on the situation, while ColinDrum has tagged accounts for both in the video, hoping to get attention for his stunt.

Other impersonation videos have worked in the, including another influencer getting into the NBA Finals as Klay Thompson.

Popular YouTube personality Airrack also had two of his friends sneak into the Super Bowl last month.
