Kay Adams is known for her popular sports-talk show on FanDuelTV, for her hosting abilities at sporting events, and her H๏τ takes and betting picks.
But it appears that you can add ‘dating advice’ to Adams’ long list of expertise.
On a recent Instagram story, Adams opened up her messages to fans asking for responses to any questions they may have.
One user responded by asking Adams, ‘How do I move past the talking stage with a girl?’
Rather than ignore the question, Adams decided to respond to it and give some advice to her male fans watching.
She then posted the video again to her account on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption, ‘Love advice for the fellas. (The “tough” is implied.)’
Sports talk host Kay Adams gave some dating advice to her male fans in an Instagram video
Adams answered a question asked by a fan in response to an Instagram Story prompt
Adams said in the video, ‘I know it’s daunting to put yourself in a position to get rejected, but it’s just what you’re gonna have to do.
‘There’s no way to, like, bubble wrap it for you and have some, like, magic “oh, no, you’re not gonna get rejected.” It might happen.
‘She might say she doesn’t want to go to dinner with you, but ask her to dinner. Say you would really like to see her and spend time with her and that you have feelings for her. And then she might reject you.
‘And I’m not saying that that doesn’t suck, but if [San Francisco 49ers linebacker] Fred Warner can have an All-Pro, 17 game season on a broken ankle, you surely can deal with a little “oh, I’m sorry, I don’t like you back.”‘
Many of Adams’ followers decided to respond with date proposals of their own, but there were still some funny responses as well.
‘Gonna “if Fred Warner can have an all pro 17 game season on a broken ankle” my way through life. Thank You Kay,’ said one user on the social media platform.
Another said, ‘if dudes is scared to be rejected just become Falcons fans. That team would break their spirit so much that it ain’t nothing any woman or rejection could do that would phase them.’
