Kristin Juszczyk celebrates husband Kyle’s return ‘home’ to 49ers after brief split

Kristin Juszczyk responded as one would expect to the news that her husband, Kyle Juszczyk, is returning to the 49ers for a ninth straight season after a brief parting of ways.

San Francisco cut the veteran fullback March 10, only to re-sign him to a two-year, $8 million contract on Saturday morning, according to ESPN.

He took less than the Steelers offered him to remain by the Bay, ESPN reported.

Kristin Juszczyk celebrated the news with multiple Instagram posts that included videos of some favorite memories in San Francisco.

“This past week has really made Kyle and I reflect on our past 8 years in the Bay. We grew up here. We turned friends into family here,” Kristin captioned one of the posts. “We won championships here and we lost championships here. We feel so incredibly blessed to have called the bay home for the past 8 years. It’s truly been the best years of our lives. Kyle’s curtain isn’t closed just yet and we couldn’t be more happy and emotional to stay home!!! We’re forever Faithful.”

Kyle Juszczyk posted a clip of Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Wolf of Wall Street” to X to make it clear he wasn’t leaving the 49ers.

Kristin Juszczyk wasn’t pleased by the news earlier this week when it appeared the 49ers were moving on from Kyle Juszczyk.

In the aftermath, she posted a pH๏τo of the couple’s dog looking upset captioned with the word “Mood.”

Kristin Juszczyk also posted and quickly deleted pH๏τos of a FaceTime call that included the Juszczyks along with George and Claire Kittle, with both couples looking stunned and soured by the news of Kyle Juszczyk being initially cut.

The families have become super close during their time with the 49ers.

Claire Kittle celebrated Juszczyk’s return with two Instagram stories, including one of him and George Kittle jumping together at a wedding with Eminem’s “Cold Wind Blows” playing over it.

Olivia Culpo, wife of 49ers star running back Christian McCaffery, also showed her excitement on Kristin Juszczyk’s post.

“HELLL YEAHHHH BABY!!!!!!” Culpo wrote.

The 33-year-old fullback has 184 receptions for 1,895 yards with 13 touchdowns and rushed for 212 yards and five scores during his eight seasons in San Francisco that included a First Team All-Pro selection in 2023.

Now, he and Kittle can chase that elusive Super Bowl ring again as the team tries to rebound from a disappointing 6-11 season in 2024.
