How ‘Hard Knocks’ fallout scared rest of NFL from following in Giants’ bumbling footsteps

How ‘Hard Knocks’ fallout scared rest of NFL from following in Giants’ bumbling footsteps

Where is the heartfelt “thank you’’ from the other 31 teams in the NFL?

Where is the appreciation for what the Giants undertook that saved the rest of the league from all the scrutiny and subsequent grief?

How about a “way to go’’ to Joe Schoen from all the other general managers for being the first — and, as for now, last — executive to bare his soul to the world and open a window into the inner-workings of an NFL offseason?

After all, it’s clear by now how “Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants” turned out for the franchise that agreed to be the crash dummies, or the guinea pigs, or however else you want to characterize their involvement in a series that left them open for so much ridicule?
