2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Giants make shock trade with тιтans to select QB at No. 1

2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Giants make shock trade with тιтans to select QB at No. 1

Free agency beckons this week, so here’s the way it looks before the stampede for the Brinks trucks begins.

One trade at the top of Serby Mock 2.0 gives Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll a quarterback of the future for the Giants — if their designated veteran quarterback bridge over troubled waters gets them a future.

Woody Johnson’s boys Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey land themselves a stud for the defensive line.

1. Giants (from тιтans)

Cam Ward, QB, Miami (Fla.)

Even if Joe Schoen is forced to surrender the 34th-overall pick, and a third-rounder in 2026, and a non-controlling minority stake in the team if need be. The old upside argument. Chip on his shoulder. Reminds ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky of Baker Mayfield.

2. Browns

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

ᴀssuming Daddy Prime approves of coach Kevin Stefanski. Son of Prime would at least help vaporize the Deshaun Watson stench. Doesn’t need elite arm talent to find a way to win. Tough as hell.

3. тιтans (from Giants)

Abdul Carter, DE, Penn State

New GM Mike Borgonzi can’t pᴀss on Micah Parsons Lite. Instant double-digit sacker as long as the stress fracture in his foot cooperates.

4. Patriots

Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

A dynamic chess piece opposite Christian Gonzalez to combat Josh Allen and a dynamic toy for Drake Maye as well.

5. Jaguars

Armand Membou, OL, Missouri

A 6-foot-4, 332-pound combine star who could also be moved inside to bludgeon defenders to help Trevor Lawrence.

6. Raiders

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Pete Carroll might want to let Geno Smith cook, and the draft’s best back lifts the league’s worst rushing attack. Could WR D.K. Metcalf reunite with coach and QB?

7. Jets

Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

Glenn and defensive coordinator Steve Wilks import help to stop the run alongside Quinnen Williams.

8. Panthers

Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia

A 6-1, 243-pound predator. A mere 32 sacks by Carolina in 2024 highlights that Brian Burns has not been replaced.

9. Saints

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

A 6-4, 220-pound target with a Drake London comp for new coach Kellen Moore to help Derek Carr and WR Chris Olave.

10. Bears

Will Campbell, OL, LSU

The trades for OL Joe Thuney and G Jonah Jackson help, but Caleb Williams won’t care about this 6-foot-6, 323-pounder’s arm length if he can push or supplant LT Braxton Jones, who is entering the last year of his rookie deal.

11. 49ers

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Kyle Shanahan saw the impact that Brock Bowers made as a rookie for the Raiders, and George Kittle turns 32 in October, and Deebo Samuel is a Commander.

12. Cowboys

Tyler Booker, G, Alabama

A plug-and-play mauler to replace retired Zack Martin. “I make guys not love football anymore,” he says. What would Dexter Lawrence say about that?

13. Dolphins

Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Can also move inside. LT Terron Armstead will be 34 and has been mulling retirement.

14. Colts

Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

A 6-2, 203-pounder who can match up against Nico Collins and Brian Thomas Jr.

15. Falcons

Mike Green, Edge, Marshall

Raheem Morris desperately needs to juice his 31st-ranked pᴀss rush.

16. Cardinals

Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M

A freakish boom-or-bust 6-5, 267-pound complement for a healthier BJ Ojulari. Zaven Collins was coach Jonathan Gannon’s top sacker (five) in 2024. Free agency could bring Josh Sweat or Joey Bosa.

17. Bengals

Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia

A powerful 6-5, 265-pound run-stuffer who has the tools to evolve as a pᴀss rusher to replace Sam Hubbard and maybe sack champion Trey Hendrickson, who has asked for a trade.

18. Seahawks

Grey Zabel, G, North Dakota State

Versatile blocker who can play all over the line and replace LG Laken Tomlinson. Geno Smith’s replacement will also need WR reinforcements with Metcalf trade request and release of Tyler Lockett.

19. Buccaneers

Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

He can cover, he can tackle, he can rush, and he’s 6-3, 235 with 4.52 speed. And Lavonte David is 35 and milling retirement.

20. Broncos

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

A 6-6, 248-pound weapon for Sean Payton and Bo Nix who could be their Travis Kelce.

21. Steelers

Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

He will have a chance to be Mike Tomlin’s quarterback of the future. Could be déjà vu all over again for Justin Fields.

22. Chargers

Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

A 220-pound ground-and-pounder with burst who can make an impact for Jim Harbaugh whether J.K. Dobbins returns or not.

23. Packers

Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

An ideal replacement for Jaire Alexander, and the same size (5-foot-10).

24. Vikings

Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

Defensive coordinator Brian Flores has edge rushers, but can use a 6-5, 313-pounder with 4.95 speed to fortify the interior.

25. Texans

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

A reunion with former Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud, since Stefon Diggs is a free agent and Tank Dell is rehabbing his gruesome December leg injury. That’s why WR Christian Kirk was acquired from Jacksonville.

26. Rams

Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Cooper Kupp’s days are numbered, so a 4.29 burner for Matthew Stafford to complement Puka Nacua.

27. Ravens

Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

A versatile, intelligent playmaker to replace Marcus Williams alongside Kyle Hamilton.

28. Lions

Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

A 6-3, 340-pound run-stuffer alongside Aidan Hutchinson with Alim McNeill (torn ACL) possibly sidelined until October.

29. Commanders

Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

As long as character issues check out, a disruptive 6-3, 304-pounder who likens himself to Aaron Donald with Jonathan Allen granted permission to seek a trade partner.

30. Bills

James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee

At 6-5, 243, bulking up on chicken wings shouldn’t affect his 4.47 speed, and Von Miller is on the salary cap chopping block.

31. Chiefs

Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

The Thuney trade to the Bears and Patrick Mahomes under duress in the Super Bowl means that Andy Reid needs his LT of the future.

32. Eagles

Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College

Sweat is a free agent and Bryce Huff was a Super Bowl scratch. Of course, Howie Roseman has his eyes on Myles Garrett …
