Erin Andrews reveals she 'wanted to pᴀss out' from recent health scare

Erin Andrews revealed on her podcast that she ‘wanted to pᴀss out’ over a recent health scare.

Andrews, the longtime sports broadcaster for Fox, said on the latest ‘Calm Down’ podcast with Charissa Thompson that she was dealing with a ‘pre-skin cancer situation’ on her upper lip.

The sideline reporter, who who was previously diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016 (she is now cancer-free), added that her skin issue ‘really hurts,’ though she initially was fearful it was something worse.

 ‘I went for the old – ‘Oh it’s a great idea until you get in the car’ skin check – the whole shebang… I wanted to pᴀss out in the middle of it because I’m so afraid they’re going to find something,’ she said, via the New York Post.

Andrews added that she had applied cream to her upper lip for five days.

She later said that she would share more about the issue on the next episode of the podcast, to be released Thursday.

Andrews has been with Fox Sports since 2012, and has covered five Super Bowls (including this year’s), two World Series and other huge events, as per her Fox bio.

Her latest Super Bowl ᴀssignment saw her cover the Chiefs’ failed three-peat attempt against the Eagles, and she detailed after how she shared an emotional moment with her friend Travis Kelce following the loss.

‘I just walked up to him and he stopped and I gave him a big hug and I was just like ‘I’m so sorry, I love you, I’m so sorry.’ They’re humans too, you know,’ she recalled.

Andrews revealed in September that her contract with Fox was up after this past season. 

‘I think my goal is always kind of the same as last year. Enjoy it, because it’s not going to last forever, especially when your contract is up – and mine is,’ Andrews said on ‘Calm Down.’

Andrews previously worked at ESPN, where she contributed to college sports coverage and hosted the first hour of ‘College Gameday.’

She later married husband Jarret Stoll in 2017, and the couple had their son, Mack (via surrogate) in 2023.
