Top NFL prospect Mike Green makes shock Sєxual ᴀssault revelation at Combine

NFL Draft prospect Mike Green made a hugely surprising revelation on Wednesday at the NFL Combine.

Green, a second-team All-America edge rusher, began his college career at Virginia before being dismissed from the team in 2022 and ultimately transferring to Marshall.

And Green has now revealed that the move came after he was accused of Sєxual ᴀssault – an allegation which he denied and added he was never charged for.

Green told reporters that he also was accused of Sєxual ᴀssault in high school, though he insisted he’s done nothing wrong.

‘I could have stayed at the university if I wanted to,’ he said from the Combine. ‘After I got suspended, I wanted a fresh start. I wanted to go somewhere that I was able to lay down a foundation, and that’s what caused me to enter the transfer portal and go to Marshall.’

He added that he has ‘no grudges against the University of Virginia’ and still speaks with Cavaliers coach Tony Elliot.

‘There’s accusations out there. I’ve never been questioned,’ he said.

‘I’ve never been asked. Nobody ever asked me a question about what happened before I departed from Virginia. It was just accusations that caused me to leave.’

The 6-foot-3, 251-pound native of Williamsburg, Virginia, played in six games for the Cavaliers during the 2021 season and did not appear on the field the following year.

Green has since blossomed into a first-round talent, with a recent mock draft from NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah predicting him to go No. 9 overall.

The Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year had 17 sacks last season, the most in major college football.

He had 21 1/2 sacks in two seasons with the Thundering Herd.
