DoorDash swooped in with an epic offer for Devin Booker after the Suns star shared his heartbreak that Hooters might be heading toward bankruptcy.
Booker pleaded, “Plz don’t go @Hooters,” in an X post on Saturday, which followed a Bloomberg report that Hooters of America is working with creditors to restructure its business through bankruptcy court in the coming months.
DoorDash, a food delivery app, replied to Booker and offered him free wings from Hooters until the iconic restaurant chain potentially closes for good.
“Know how much this hurts. To make you feel better, we got you on free wings until they close,” DoorDash replied to Booker in a post on Monday, adding an owl emoji, the Hooters’ mascot.
Suns star Kevin Durant also shared an A.I. pH๏τo of himself and Booker sitting down and enjoying wings while wearing Hooters T-shirts in a since-expired post on his Instagram Story.
