Former NFL star Le'Veon Bell delivers his verdict on Donald Trump and Elon Musk amid DOGE criticism

Former NFL star Le’Veon Bell leapt to the defense of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk on Monday, as he took aim at those ‘hatin’ on the pair.

Trump has had an eventful first five weeks back in office, as he’s focused his efforts on removing illegal immigrants from the country, signed an executive order banning transgender women from competing in women’s sports, and pulled out of the Paris (climate) Agreement.

Musk, meanwhile, has been tapped by the President to lead the newly-created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is tasked with reducing government waste and spending.

Thousands of federal employees have already been fired.

And why some may disagree with the measures that Trump and Musk have taken, Bell –  who appeared at a campaign rally for Trump in October – has made his loyalties clear.

‘Elon doin too much for this world for yall to be hatin,’ he wrote on X, before adding the same sentiment about Trump.

‘Trump doin too much for this world for yall to be hatin.’

Musk came across the message and replied ‘Thanks’ with a praying-hands emoji.

Bell, a three-time Pro Bowler with the Steelers who ultimately finished his career in 2021, returned to Pittsburgh in October to endorse Trump at a campaign rally.

His ex-Steelers teammate, Antonio Brown, also stood on stage with him.

And they’re far from the only football players to have Trump’s support, as former defensive back Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones rolled up to the Sports Illustrated Party red carpet in a Make America Great Again hat during Super Bowl week.

In an exclusive interview with Mail Sport, Jones said he was ‘excited’ that Trump was president and agreed with ‘95.9 percent’ of things he was saying.

‘Only thing I don’t agree with is the women’s rights thing, and I think that’s gonna be worked out in the coming future,’ Jones said, not adding any specifics.

49ers star Nick Bosa also made his support for Trump public last season, as he wore a MAGA hat during a postgame interview,  while the likes of Brock Bowers, Calvin Ridley, Bosa and more also performed the ‘Trump dance’ throughout the season.
