NFL free agent unleashes profane rant at fans criticizing him for allegedly quitting on the 49ers this season

NFL linebacker De’Vondre Campbell unleashed a profane tirade at one social media critic after being slammed for allegedly quitting on his San Francisco 49ers teammates during the season.

‘Listen,’ the furious soon-to-be free agent wrote on X. ‘I’m sick of all you b**** a** n***** jumping under my tweets.’

Campbell had signed a $5 million, one-year contract with San Francisco in March and went on to start 12 of the team’s first 13 games while playing on 90 percent of defensive snaps.

But after being benched in December and then asked to enter into the third quarter of a game against the Los Angeles Rams, Campbell simply refused to re-enter, according to his coaches.

‘It’s been 2 months and I have yet to address the situation cause I know the truth and don’t care to clear anything up,’ Campbell continued on X.

He also referred to the 49ers as ‘them b**** a** n*****’ while warning everyone to stop talking about him.

‘That goes for all them old a** retired n***** that jumped on TV speaking on my name when they could’ve reached out to me and heard it from the horses (sic) mouth but they just took what the 49ers said and ran with it. Yall n***** p**** too f*** all of yall.’

And Campbell wasn’t done there.

He topped off his on-line rant by declaring himself to be above the fray.

‘They get mad when they can’t successfully troll you,’ he wrote. ‘I’m a real n**** you can’t get under my skin my life is great. I get on here say whatever I want then I log off and go on with my day while yall sit here mad. With that being said I hope everyone has a great Friday.’

The 49ers suspended Campbell after he allegedly refused to play against the Rams. By banning him, as opposed to releasing him, San Francisco prevented him from joining a rival team heading into the playoffs.

‘His actions from the game are not something you can do to your team or teammates and still expect to be a part of our team,’ 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said.

Campbell was seen walking off the field with a towel draped over his head against the Rams. Afterwards Shanahan said he didn’t know why the linebacker was headed towards the locker room before the final gun.

‘Once I found out he wasn’t playing, I moved on to people we could count on,’ he said.

Campbell’s decision left his teammates angered and bewildered.

‘He’s a professional,’ cornerback Charvarius Ward said after the game. ‘He’s been playing for a long time. If he didn’t want to play, he shouldn’t have dressed out. He could have told them before the game.

‘So I feel like that was selfish. It definitely hurt the team. Dre went down and we needed a linebacker. … For him to do that, that’s sucker [stuff] in my opinion. He’s probably going to get cut soon.’
