This Dacian golden helmet, was discovered in 1929 in Romania. This artefact was most probably used for ceremonial purposes.

The helmet most probably belonged to an unknown warlord or a Geto-Dacian king. It may also have been the sacred helmet of Zalmoxis, the living god-prophet of the Dacians.
