Eagles GM Howie Roseman, Cooper DeJean bloodied by beer cans during Super Bowl parade

The Philadelphia Eagles had a tougher time surviving their Super Bowl parade on Friday than they did winning the game on Sunday.

Both rookie defensive back Cooper DeJean and general manager Howie Roseman suffered cuts on their faces — and beer was responsible for both wounds.

DeJean said he suffered a cut above his left eye when he was hit with the giant Bud Light chain he was wearing on the parade route.

Still, DeJean said Friday “might be the best day of my life,’’ as the Eagles celebrated their second championship in eight years after never winning one before 2018.

Roseman apparently was hit in the forehead by a beer can that was thrown in his direction by a fan as the players, coaches and front office members took part in an open-air bus parade.

“I bleed for this city,” he told the frenzied crowd outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art from the famed “Rocky” stairs. “Go Eagles! We are two-time World Champs, and we’re coming back strong. Go Birds!”

He has been credited for building a roster that dismantled a Kansas City Chiefs team that was looking to become the first ever to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Instead, Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts and ex-Giant Saquon Barkley routed Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid, 40-22 in New Orleans.

They were helped by DeJean, who returned an interception for a touchdown in the second quarter to help give the Eagles a 17-0 lead on their way to the lopsided win.

Fans lined up overnight along the parade route on Broad Street, as city officials warned against climbing light poles, something that’s been done after Philadelphia teams have won тιтles in recent years — including following Sunday’s victory.

A large police presence was seen along the route and city schools, courts and other agencies were closed Friday for the celebration.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Kansas City said it would not hold a public rally even with a Chiefs win after a fan was sH๏τ and killed in a mᴀss shooting during the parade last year.
