Kadarius Toney responds to arrest in since-deleted social media post

Kadarius Toney seemed to address his recent arrest in since-deleted posts on his social media.

Toney, 26, was arrested last week after he allegedly put his hands around the neck of a woman who described the NFL receiver as her boyfriend during a 911 call first reported by TMZ on Thursday.

Toney seemed to address what had happened in Instagram posts viewed by the outlet.

“MFs say anything when they think they right,” Toney wrote on a picture on his Instagram story.

“& they believe anything…. Long as it’s bad,” it continued.

The pH๏τo that contained the caption showed Toney wearing a mask and hat near the middle of an unidentified street.

The post was deleted minutes after it was posted, TMZ reported.

News about Toney’s Feb. 6 arrest — which stemmed from a Han. 14 14 incident in Douglasville, Georgia — came to light Wednesday.

According to a police report, Toney had placed “his hand around [the victim’s] throat with enough force to her to be unable to breathe, leave red marks on her neck and cause Petechial Hemorrhaging in her eyes.”

It also alleged that Toney had prevented the woman from calling 911 by taking away her phone “while physically ᴀssaulting her.”

Audio from a 911 call by the woman, which TMZ obtained, shed even more light on the disturbing allegations, with the recording showing that the victim claimed that Toney put hands on her and that she was seven months pregnant.

She told the 911 dispatcher that she was making the call from a neighbor’s home across the street.

Toney and the woman were living together at the time of the alleged ᴀssault, the recording also revealed.

Toney was drafted by the Giants in 2021, but the organization traded him to the Chiefs during the 2022 season.

He won two Super Bowls with the organization, but he was released before the 2024 season.

Toney then spent a brief period with the Browns before they cut him in December.
