Staggering amount Travis Kelce could earn if he becomes a NFL analyst amid retirement talk

With talks of retirement hovering over Travis Kelce after the Kanas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss, speculations about his future in media are getting a price tag attached to it.

If Kelce, who recently addressed the rumors on the New Heights podcast, decides to step away from the NFL, he would be the H๏τtest prospect for a wide array of sports networks.

Although the future Hall-Of-Famer is unlikely to get a 10-year deal worth $375million like Tom Brady with Fox, Kelce could earn more than his brother Jason does with ESPN.

The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand recently reported that ESPN is paying the older Kelce brother $6m to appear on its Monday Night Football pregame show.

Given Travis’ popularity, which skyrocketed past football due to his relationship with Taylor Swift, Sports Illustrated floated the idea that he could earn around $10m if he took his talents to the booth.

With the landscape of football media, it would not be surprising to see Fox, Amazon, ESPN, NBC, and NFL Network auction for Kelce’s services whenever he retires.

‘I’m gonna take some time to figure it out,’ said Kelce. ‘And I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back that it’s gonna be a wholehearted decision and I’m not half-a**ing it, and I’m fully here for them.

‘I think I can play, it’s just whether or not I’m motivated or it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human, as a person to take on all that responsibility.’

Kelce has long expressed interest in working in media, getting involved on and off camera on several projects. His on-screen endeavors include the horror series Grotesquerie, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader, and hosting Saturday Night Live.

Furthermore, Kelce has starred in multiple commercials and helped produce the 2024 movie ‘My ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Friend Zoe’.

Kelce was also cast for the long-awaited sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 classic Happy Gilmore.

Whether or not he pursues a broadcast career, Kelce is considered one of the best тιԍнт ends in NFL history with three Super Bowl тιтles.
