Jason Kelce gets choked up reliving Super Bowl 2025 hell with brother Travis

Super Bowl 2025 was not fun at all for Jason Kelce.

With his brother Travis Kelce on one side and the team he spent his entire 13-year NFL career with, the Eagles, on the other, the seven-time Pro Bowl center had a hard time navigating his emotions in the lead-up to the game, and things only got “progressively weirder” as the Eagles started to blow the Chiefs out.

The 37-year-old got choked up discussing the game on the latest episode of the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast, which dropped Wednesday.

“We are still very much attached to this organization (the Eagles), which is why there’s a part of me that’s very happy and proud that they won this game, but …,” Jason said.

“That doesn’t make you less of a brother,” Travis interjected.

“That does not take precedence over rooting for you,” Jason continued. “That’s why this game sucked. It was very, very hard to watch. As much as I love the Eagles, as much as I love the city of Philadelphia, there was not a f–king ounce of me…”

Jason then paused and took a few deep breaths, collecting himself before resuming his point.

“I tried to correlate that I was rooting for both sides the whole time and I was gonna be happy and sad regardless,” Jason said. “No matter who won, it was gonna be happy and sad regardless.”

Travis then ᴀssured his brother — who said he grew more uncomfortable as the Eagles continued to dominate while watching the game with family — that he didn’t have to explain himself to any fans who would question where his heart was.

“F–k ’em. You don’t owe any of these d–kheads the acknowledgement. You really don’t, Jason,” Travis said. “Anyone that knows you knows your intentions.”

Elsewhere during the podcast, Travis fought back tears as he opened up on the Chiefs’ brutal 40-22 loss, during which they were down, 34-0.

“It’s a tough pill to swallow,” he said as his voice began to shake. “It’s a hard reality, man.”

Travis also said he’s “kicking every can I can down the road” with regards to his retirement decision.
