How much did Super Bowl fans pay for their tickets to the big game?

Super Bowl fans have opened up about just how much money they spent on tickets to the big game, with superfans willing to drop as much as $30,000 for a seat.

Speaking to DailyMail.com from Caesers Superdome, several fans documented the cost of a seat inside the stadium in New Orleans.

Prices varied wildly. Some said they paid ‘five stacks’ for access to the game, while the most devoted spent upwards of $30,000.

In the weeks leading to the big match, the average cost of a ticket was $8,076, while the cheapest available was about $3,000.

One fan told DailyMail.com he knew he ‘had to come for Trump’ after learning ‘the boss was coming.’

One couple said they spent $15,000 each on tickets, while a tattooed Chiefs supporter was willing to spend $30,000 to see his team attempt a three-peat in the final from the front row.

One person thanked his father, who he described as a doctor, for buying the tickets.

‘I’m incredibly grateful for my father Dr Gary Kramer over here,’ he said.

NFL fans travel from around the globe to attend the Super Bowl, meaning often the cost of the ticket itself is just a small component of the total output.

H๏τel prices in New Orleans skyrocketed for Super Bowl weekend, with two-star H๏τel rooms going for as much as $1,000 per night while more luxury venues were charging $4,000 per night with a three-night minumum.

The NFL was selling ticket packages directly starting at $6,700, which inluded access to tailgate parties and meet and greets with football players, as well as food and beverages.

Sellers experienced unprecedented demand for tickets to the Super Bowl this year – up 10 per cent from 2024 – but the average price for a seat actually dropped.

In a Ticketmaster FAQ about prices and ticket sales, this fluctuation was justified.

‘The price of Super Bowl tickets on resale often fluctuates drastically based on the game’s location, the matchup, seat location, and date of purchase,’ the FAQ read.

‘Generally, the historical cost of the average Super Bowl resale ticket has ranged between $4,000 and $6,000.’
